Over time, sleeping less than five hours a night increases your blood sugar swings by 2.87%. That finding — published in JAMA Network Open — underscores just how much your sleep habits impact your metabolic health.1 Glycemic variability — the technical term for those swings — plays a major role in insulin resistance and Type 2 diabetes. It doesn’t just affect how you feel in the moment. Over time, this rollercoaster of sugar highs and lows contributes to inflammation, mitochondrial damage and long-term metabolic breakdown. In simple terms, if your sleep is off, your blood sugar suffers, and that impact…

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said on Thursday that Amazon sellers would probably respond to President Donald Trump’s tariffs by raising prices for consumers. “I think they [sellers] will try and pass the cost on,” Jassy told CNBC in an interview. Trump levied a 10% tariff on all trading partners and an “at least” 145% tariff on China earlier this week that could impact consumer prices. The tariff news has thrown Amazon sellers into a panic because the majority of goods on the platform, up to 70% of products per Wedbush Securities estimates, come from China. AUGUSTA, Ga. — Oh, how different one week can be. Seven days ago, during the first round of the Valero Texas Open, Justin Rose hit a cold-blooded shank on the 4th hole at TPC San Antonio, leading to a double-bogey six and ultimately an even par round of 72. He came nowhere close to doing such a thing on Thursday at Augusta National. Rose turned in a masterful round, making eight birdies en route to a 7-under 65. His only blemish on the scorecard came on the par-4 18th after he drove it right of the fairway and into the…

If there’s one thing B2B marketing doesn’t need more of, it’s forgettable, safe, same-old-same-old campaigns. You know the ones—the blue logos, the corporate jargon, the ads you scroll right past without a second thought.

BofA Securities analyst Craig Siegenthaler downgraded Cboe Global Markets Inc. CBOE from Buy to Neutral, lowering the price target to $227 from $260. The analyst noted that while the broader diversified financials sector has declined 10% year-to-date amid the growing tariff dispute, CBOE Global Markets has stood out by delivering a 5% return —outperforming its peers by about 15%. This strong performance, according to Siegenthaler, is largely attributed to CBOE’s defensive business model, which tends to benefit during periods of heightened market volatility and increased trading volumes. However, despite the solid year-to-date gains, the analyst expressed caution going forward. Also…

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Golden Bear knows a thing or two about Augusta National. After all, Jack Nicklaus won The Masters six times and made 52 starts during his illustrious career. So when he picked Rory McIlroy to win earlier on Thursday morning, it came as no surprise. Both Gary Player and Tom Watson picked him to complete the career Grand Slam, something he has been trying to do for 11 years now. But Nicklaus, who admitted to having a recent conversation with McIlroy about how to play the golf course, provided a warning sign about the current World No.…
